Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Festival

Grab the sky train and head out to New West for this year’s food fest featuring 90+ food trucks, live entertainment and the perfect opportunity to explore another buzzing waterfront community. Bonus bite: thanks to the CBC and The Tragically Hip, they’ll be hosting a free live screening of ‘The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration,’ concert on August 20th.

Freshair Cinema at Stanley Park

Summer in Vancouver isn’t complete without attending at least one beachside screening of a classic flick like Star Wars, Purple Rain, Labyrinth or Dirty Dancing. All of which happen to be screening ever Tuesday throughout the month ahead. Pack a picnic; bring a blanket and crew of friends for a free night out under the stars.
